Submit a Course for CICM Accreditation
Face-to-Face Courses for CICM Trainees
CICM welcomes submissions from
external course providers who wish to have their educational
programs assessed and accredited as part of the College's required
face-to-face training courses for trainees.
Approved courses form part of the mandatory training requirements and are
published on the CICM website for trainees to access and enrol in.
Course Domains Eligible for Accreditation
Courses must align with one of the following seven approved training domains:
- Advanced Airway Skills
- Communications (Clinical/Interpersonal)
- Introductory Echocardiography and Ultrasound
- Introductory Intensive Care Medicine (BASIC)
- Management Skills
- Donor Awareness

How to Submit a Course for Accreditation
To ensure high-quality education standards, all course submissions are
assessed against CICM's
T-43 Face-to-Face Course Quality Assurance Checklist.
Step 1: Review the Requirements
Before applying, download and review the T‑43 Checklist to ensure your course
meets the College's expectations in areas such as content relevance, faculty
expertise, assessment structure, and delivery format.

Step 2: Complete the Online Submission Form
Submit your course for review by completing the online application form.
Please provide comprehensive details, including:
- Course objectives and outcomes
- Detailed curriculum or agenda
- Trainer qualifications
- Assessment methods (if applicable)
- Accreditation from other institutions (if any)
- Participant feedback (optional but encouraged)

After Submission

The CICM Education Committee will assess your submission based on the T‑43
checklist.
- You will be notified of the outcome via email.

If approved, your course will be listed on the CICM website as an
approved face-to-face course in the relevant domain.

Approval is valid for a period of three years, subject to ongoing compliance
and feedback.
