2026.2 CICM Exam dates 

 

Applications for the second round of CICM examinations open from Tuesday 9 June until COB Tuesday 23 June.  

The examinations, for the remainder of 2026, will occur as follows: 

FIRST PART 

Written Examination Wednesday 5 August 

Oral Examination Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 October 

SECOND PART (GENERAL) 

Written Examination Wednesday 19 August 

Oral Examination Wednesday 28 to Friday 30 October 


SECOND PART (PAEDIATRIC) 

Written Examination Wednesday 19 August 

Oral Examination Thursday 12 and Friday 13 November 

 

It is important for our CICM Trainees and SIMGs to feel confident that they’re ready for this step as they progress through their CICM Training. You are encouraged to discuss this with your SOT.

Acknowledgement of Country
