The CICM ASM 2020 will again feature the popular Update day on Thursday 21sy of May. It is designed for the practicing Intensive Care Specialist and is therefore clinically focused. The day has a selection of engaging talks in the morning and a choice of small group workshops in the afternoon. Participants are able to select 2 out of 4 available workshops which will facilitate closer interaction without time pressure, while allowing either a longer lunch break or an early finish to enable more networking opportunities.
We will discuss contemporary knowledge across a broad spectrum of current interesting topics and hope to stimulate plenty of discussion. The range of topics include perioperative medicine, a hands on update on airway management in the ICU, ECMO troubleshooting and eCPR, exploring what to lookout for in Paediatric ICU graduates as they appear in Adult ICU, current thoughts on DVT prophylaxis plus more ! - the full program is online Please register early as places on the workshops are limited and filling up quickly!
