Hospital Accreditation
Training towards the Diploma of Fellowship of the CICM must be undertaken in Hospitals accredited by the College for training. Units seeking accreditation of basic or advanced training make application to the Hospital Accreditation Committee. The Committee will normally conduct a visit to ensure the Unit meets the criteria for training, outlined in:
Policy Document IC-3 'Guidelines for Accreditation of Intensive Care Units Approved for Training'.
